"Laughter is a bodily exercise, precious to Health" (Aristotle)
My Motivation
Within
a few years of practicing physiotherapy, I soon realized that a treatment which
is purely based on the postural and musculoskeletal system, therapeutic limits
are often quickly reached. A person is not just made of muscles and joints but
their body also consists of organs and fascia which are connected by mechanical,
neural and hormonal, as well as transport systems, which are all interrelated. Then
there are also personal aspects such as character, life style (diet, exercise,
regeneration) and current situation. Even though the health care system in
Germany is highly specialized, patients are often left with a lack of
understanding of their diagnoses and medical reports. This may result in
necessary treatments being provided too late or not being applied at all. Often
there is a lack of time for adequate, detailed advice.
I’m
happy to say that in my practice, patients can benefit from a full 50 minutes
of osteopathic treatment, so that their concerns can be addressed and treated
as individually and holistically as possible. Respecting a patient`s privacy is
important to me as well as involving them in their treatment planning. On request,
I would be happy to liaise with treating physicians and other therapists and adjust
my treatment accordingly.
My basic belief: Life is movement.
Therefore I also offer private sessions of physiotherapy for individual
treatment and training.
